		<description>It&#039;s refreshing to hear some different perspectives on understanding social media.

Defining social media&#039;s core characteristics is important (aka: it&#039;s dictionary/wikipedia definition), but understanding it&#039;s broad influence and application demands deeper inquiry.

The work ahead of us requires more questions than answers I think (as Joe G. has eluded to).
